Welcome to our fundraising page for Cycle to Inspire!

Our awesome team is made up of four friends: Megan, Jess, Erin and Julia. We have decided to come together in support of those we know (and don't know) who have and are affected by cancer.  Not to mention, we all hate cancer!  We are each raising money for the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults, to support the many programs and resources, that this organization provides adolescent and young adult cancer patients, survivors, and their families.

Megan works directly with the young adult patients at the University of Maryland Medical Center as a Patient Navigator.  Patients constantly need support: emotional, psychosocial, with meals and food, childcare, transportation, housing, insurance, fertility preservation, and so much more.  The funds raised will continue to ensure that all the patients are supported in meaningful ways during the fight of their life!

Please donate your morning coffee money, or any amount you can, to this great event with a great cause!  Any amount is appreciated.  We and the patients thank you for your generous support!

With your donation, feel free to let us know if there is someone we can dedicate our ride to: in honor or in memory of!

Megan is dedicating her ride in memory of her father, Alan Solinger.

Erin is dedicating her ride in honor of her friend, Jason.

ABOUT 2018 Cycle to Inspire

Cycle to Inspire is a four-hour indoor cycling event hosted at Baltimore Soundstage on Saturday, November 10, 2018. The event will feature teams of four riders each spinning for one 45-minute session led by Baltimore’s best spin instructors. Individual participants have the option to complete all four sessions on a Challenge Bike.

Cycle to Inspire challenges participants to #BEMORE by raising funds and awareness for young adults impacted by cancer in the Baltimore community.

The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. We are able to accomplish our mission through Direct Services and Programs that better the lives of young adults impacted by cancer. One of those services is our Young Adult Patient Navigation program that serves patients remotely and on-site at our partner facilities, the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center, the University of Maryland Marlene & Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, Children’s National Medical Center, the John P. Murtha Cancer Center at Walter Reed National Medical Center, and MedStar Health Systems.

The proceeds from this event will also help to fuel the ongoing support of running Ulman House, a home away from home for young adults seeking cancer treatment in Baltimore.
