In April, I will be part of a 35-person team to ride from Key , Baltimore to Key West, Florida in support of the meaningful work of The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. In 2014, I was fortunate to participate and have been waiting for the right time to join this team again. 2018 is the right opportunity for me!
Over these past 9 years of my involvement, this organization, the staff and the volunteers have personally touched my life. There is so much to say about their work, that I don't know where to start and where to stop. What I do know, is that cancer touches all of our lives and UCF plays a big part in helping so many people affected by cancer. Everyone I know has been touched by cancer whether it is a friend, a family member or colleague. I am thankful to ride in honor of those that can still hear me when I say, 'I love you' and those that remain in my heart. It would be a privilege if I could ride in honor of someone you love and hope you will share their name and story with me.

Cancer Changes Lives, So Do We!
The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, the Ulman Cancer Fund is able to provide free support services and resources for the young adult cancer community including:
Cancer to 5K - a 12-week training program designed to introduce or reintroduce cancer survivors to physical activity.
UCF House - a “home away from home” to provide free housing for young adult cancer patients, and their caregivers, in East Baltimore.
Patient Navigation - a free program (onsite at cancer centers and remotely through our office) that ensures no young adult ever faces cancer alone. We provide one-on-one support & resources to young adults and their families to help them manage the cancer experience and long-term cancer survival.
Scholarships - a financial assistance program to help young adults continue their education after being affected by cancer through their own diagnosis or the diagnosis of a loved one.
