Hello!
This year I am stepping up my game and taking on a huge, new challenge! As you may remember, I have participated in events and raised money for the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults (15-45 year olds) for more than 10 years but this year I will be riding for Ulman’s Key to Keys! More specifically, I will be riding my bicycle from Key Highway in Baltimore, MD to Key West, FL. Yes, you read that correctly: Baltimore to Jimmy Buffetville! It will be over 1,500 miles!
Why? Because Cancer Sucks!
One of the reaseon we are raising money is to fund a Navigator at Walter Reed Hospital. What is a Navigator, you may ask? They help cancer patients and their families navigate the medical system throughout their battle. They are a resource, a voice and a shoulder for young people forced to deal with cancer. Check out the other amazing reasons like Cancer to 5k or the scholarships below.
Ulman does amazing work for young adults with cancer and I want to make an even bigger impact to help these patients and their families. Too many young people have had to face this journey alone. Please help me raise money and awareness for an amazing group that helps so many!
I have pledged to raise $4,500 for this ride but don’t let that constrain you – no amount is too big or too small in this effort. Please donate any amount you care to so we can help care for others.

The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, the Ulman Cancer Fund is able to provide free support services and resources for the young adult cancer community including:
Cancer to 5K - a 12-week training program designed to introduce or reintroduce cancer survivors to physical activity.
Patient Navigation - a free program (onsite at cancer centers and remotely through our office) that ensures no young adult ever faces cancer alone. We provide one-on-one support & resources to young adults and their families to help them manage the cancer expereience and long-term cancer survival.
Scholarships - a financial assistance program to help young adults continue their education after being affected by cancer through their own diagnosis or the diagnosis of a loved one.
