It always takes me a bit of time to set up this page. It is not because I am procrastinating or shy. It is because there is just so much I can say about the Ulman Cancer Fund and why I continue to raise awareness and funds for this organization.

As many of you know I am a cancer survivor. And as many of you know it took me a very long time to be able to say (or type) just that. The Ulman Cancer Fund helped me embrace survivorship in a way I am comfortable with and at my own pace.  It is because of this community that I not only embraced survivorship, but learned and continue to learn what that means for me. It is through this community that I am able to join programs like the Board of Young Adult Advisors and help others the way this community has helped me. And it is because of the stories shared and people that I have met that I continue to raise awareness of the 70,000 young adults that are diagnosed with cancer each year.

I hope that you will join me in raising awareness of the young adult cancer community and to help support the Ulman Cancer Fund's mission to make sure they can continue to provide resources and services to young adults and their families.

The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, the Ulman Cancer Fund is able to provide free support services and resources for the young adult cancer community including:

Cancer to 5K - a 12-week training program designed to introduce or reintroduce cancer survivors to physical activity.

Patient Navigation - a free program (onsite at cancer centers and remotely through our office) that ensures no young adult ever faces cancer alone. We provide one-on-one support & resources to young adults and their families to help them manage the cancer expereience and long-term cancer survival.

Scholarships - a financial assistance program to help young adults continue their education after being affected by cancer through their own diagnosis or the diagnosis of a loved one.
