Jerry Antonelli passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 29th doing something he loved, playing cards and being surrounded by some of his closest friends and family.
Jerry was a family man, but what he considered to be family extended far beyond who was biologically related to him. He loved to have a full house - welcoming neighbors, friends, friends of friends, and more over for dinner, parties, or bonfires. He was one of the most caring people inside of the home and out, always trying to find ways to brighten others’ days in unexpected ways – paying for a stranger’s meal, giving scratch off tickets to employees at stores, or bringing home flowers for his wife for no reason at all.
Due to the sudden loss of someone like Jerry, his family wants to keep his memory alive through fundraising for Ulman House. We hope to fundraise enough to earn a naming opportunity for him, so his memory can keep living on and continue helping others.
ABOUT ULMAN HOUSE
Ulman Foundation has broken ground on a “home away from home” to provide free housing for young adult cancer patients, and their caregivers, in East Baltimore. Ulman House will create a community that fosters peer and social support, decreases financial and other burdens, and encourages hope and healing. Learn more about Ulman House!
